Support the College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation

Founded in 1957, ASU’s College of Nursing has grown to 7,600 graduates from 6. Twenty-nine percent of its students are from ethnic minority backgrounds and 11 percent are male. The college is Arizona’s largest resource for nurses, offering Baccalaureate and Master of Science nursing degrees. Additionally, ASU's College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation is the first in the nation to offer the Master of Healthcare Innovation program.

The College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation’s new brand reflects the philosophy and values of our college: We Dream, Discover and Deliver excellence in nursing education, practice and healthcare solutions.

We also reorganized the college based on our faculty’s areas of expertise: Center for the Advancement of Evidence-based Practice; Center for Improving Health Outcomes in Children, Teens and Families; Hartford Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence; and the Institute for Community Health and Wellness.

To help meet the growing demand for nurses in the region, the college hired 35 new, full-time faculty in 2005. As a result, the College of Nursing increased the number of students at the West campus and expanded its program to the ASU Polytechnic campus in addition to a joint nursing program at the Mayo Clinic. As a result, the college expects to double its number of baccalaureate graduates to 320, annually, by 2007.
