
The Nursing Residential Community is a “living and learning” program designed to provide opportunities for first-year students to interact with peers, faculty, and advisors through academic and co-curricular programs in their residence hall. The Nursing Residential Community will be housed in Taylor Place Residential Hall, opening August 2008, at the Downtown Phoenix campus.
The mission of the Nursing Residential Community is to assist students in exploring their academic DREAMS by DISCOVERING nursing through the DELIVERY of interactive student-centered programming.

- Opportunities for students to enrich their academic experience outside the classroom by engaging with peers, faculty, and staff around learning
- Regular interaction with a nursing faculty advisor, academic advisor, and student peer mentor dedicated to helping students succeed at ASU

- Hands-on experience in the nursing skills lab
- Organized on-site study groups, dinner with faculty, and academic support services
- Participate in community service projects and social events in the Phoenix community (i.e. Diamondbacks Baseball game)
requirements:
- Be a fulltime first year student
- Submit a residential life application
- Submit Nursing Residential Community application no later than April 16, 2008
- Enrollment in a ASU 101 designed specifically for students in the Nursing Residential Community
how to apply to live in the nursing residential community:
- Complete the Arizona State University Housing/Residential Life Application.
- Select Taylor Place on your application.
- Make appropriate deposits or payments by deadlines to Residential Life
to reserve your space. - Fill out the Nursing Residential Community 2008-2009 Application (MS Word)
accepting the conditions and requirements to become a resident of this community.

Note: Residential Life can only accept applications from students who have been officially accepted to Arizona State University.
