This timely, 15-credit online certificate program is designed for nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals who are interested in the growing field of Clinical Research Management (CRM). The program was designed to address the needs of healthcare professionals throughout the nation and internationally who want to work in the diversified and complex clinical research industry. A medical background, communication and critical thinking skills, and understanding of the clinical environment contribute to the healthcare professional’s effectiveness in research management.
The CRM specialty takes a multidisciplinary approach in providing an education strong in clinical research business and financial practices; ethical and regulatory aspects of research; and overall management of clinical drug, biological, and medical device trials. The program is designed to be flexible and conducive to the adult learner.
Next certificate program begins: January 2009
Subsequent certificate program begins: Fall 2010 (January 2009 will be the last time this program will start during the spring semester. In order to align the MS in CRM degree and the CRM graduate certificate program, the next cohort of certificate students following the January 2009 group will not start until Fall 2010.)
