Admission Requirements:
- Current active healthcare licensure in the applicant’s state as needed to complete the clinical requirements for the certificate (e.g. RN, NP, PA, MD)
- Master’s prepared pediatric or family nurse practitioner, pediatric clinical nurse specialist, or health-related professional (e.g. social worker, physician’s assistant, physician) with a bachelor’s or master’s degree or medical degree; or
- Current student in a master of science degree program or doctor of nursing practice pediatric, psychiatric, or family nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist program.
- Proof of submission of application for a fingerprint clearance card if student secures a space in the upper division Nursing major. Dates and location for fingerprinting will be provided by the Student Services Office.
- International applicants must also meet the additional requirements for international students of the Graduate College.
