What is Academic Advisement?
Academic advising is the process of developing a meaningful academic plan, staying informed of curriculum changes, and facilitating problem-solving within the university system. It is a critical component throughout one's education. To ensure that our students are well informed of curricular improvements and academic options, all nursing students taking critical tracking courses are required to see an academic advisor each semester. This mandatory advising requirement ensures regular contact with an academic advisor to enhance opportunities for success at the university.
