The ASU Hartford Center offers four courses to enhance geriatric nursing expertise for nurses in Arizona and the Southwest. These courses provide substantive geriatric and interdisciplinary content for PhD students and faculty. These include:

These courses will be offered using web-based formats and will include participation of interdisciplinary faculty. They are also planned to be offered in conjunction with the Nursing Education Xchange (NEXus) program.
A Visiting Scholar Program has also been implemented and has hosted visits in scholarship and consultation from national and international expertise in aging issues.
In order to promote shared resources in geriatric nursing across five Southwest states (Arizona, New Mexico, Southwest Texas, Colorado, and Nevada) the ASU Hartford Center has implemented the Southwest Consortium for Geriatric Nursing Education.
