PHOENIX – On Friday, December 15, nearly 190 College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation students and 45 staff and faculty members marched to their graduation ceremony at Phoenix Convention Center.
Led by Dean Bernadette Melnyk, the group departed from the college’s building at Third and Taylor Streets and marched to the Phoenix Convention Center at Third and Washington Streets at 9:15 a.m. March participants, dressed in full regalia, traveled south on Third Street to commemorate the first graduating class of the downtown campus.
In its first year as an operating campus, ASU Downtown Phoenix campus graduated more than 800 students during commencement ceremonies held December 14 – 16.
The ceremony featured four student speakers.
