Gala Celebration
On September 22, 1957, the ASU School of Nursing opened its doors with just six students enrolled in the program. From those modest beginnings, the school has graduated more than 7,800 nurses in the past 50 years, growing to become one of the largest nursing programs in the country with current enrollment of about 1,850. The ASU College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation, as it is now named, continues in the proud tradition established in its first half-century, setting a standard of excellence that places it among the top 8 percent of nursing schools in the country.
To celebrate our 50 Years of Dreaming, Discovering & Delivering, the ASU College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation will be hosting the 50th Anniversary Gala.
